Yesterday, the New York Police Department announced that authorities discovered a trap door in the floor where fentanyl and other narcotics were found in a daycare.
Along with their new findings, the NYC grand jury voted yesterday to indict the two suspects, Grei Mendez and Carlisto Brito.
This comes after a child died late last week and three others were hospitalized due to the exposure to fentanyl.
Investigators believe that the suspects were midlevel drug distributors. Both face up to life in prison.
