A music festival was taking place on October 7th when Hamas breached the border to Israel.
Many people were taken as hostage at that festival, and Shani Louk was one of them.
Shani was a 23 year old German-Israeli who was attending the festival.
It was announced earlier this morning that her body has been found and identified.
At the event, militants had blocked off the road to the festival and then swarmed the site.
Ricarda Louk, Shani's mom said, "She was going to her car and they had military people standing by the cars and were shooting so people couldn’t reach their cars, even to go away. And that’s when they took her."
According to the Israeli rescue service, Zaka, more than 260 bodies were found at the music festival.
