I traveledfrom a land where the people are just a little bit
awkward, they talk a little toofast their brains are a little scattered,
or maybe they are just a little too addictedto caffeine. That is where I
acquired the name for my show Awkward Fast Talking,but please do not be
turned off by the name. I know few speak my language, so Iwill slow
down. One of the reasons I enjoy doing the show is because it helpswith
my speaking skills.
On my show I like to shine the spotlight on alot of female
artist who do not get enough credit in the music world such asKate Nash,
Ida Maria and Liz Phair. If that’s not you cup of tea please do notfret.
I play of variety music from Oldies like The Beatles and The Smiths.
Tocurrent bands such as Kings of Leons, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Magnetic
Fields.I heart yearns to play Show tunes, but the radio may never be
ready for astation that awesome.
So insteadevery Tuesday for my first bit I talk about the
latest Glee news. Do not likeGlee? I also offer the latest film news and
the occasional humorous news story.(Did you hear the one last year about
the guy who found a mouse in his MonsterEvery Drink?) During my film
news bits, I discuss box office numbers, comingattractions and even
films just going into production. I will probably act like I know more
about movies than you do, but I do not. I just know many fun facts.
