(FOX) The Wounded Warrior Project, one of the largest veteran charities in the country, has fired CEO Steven Nardizzi and COO Al Giordano. The two men were found to have spent donations on lavish items. Parties, hotels, and travel expenses were just a few of the outlets Nardizzi and Giordano spent more than $800 million of the funds for Wounded Warrior Project on. According to the charity’s tax forms meetings and conferences went from $1.7 million in 2010 to $26 million in 2014. Nardizzi took over as CEO in 2009.

 

(CNN) Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson has now endorsed Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nominee.
The two men ran almost polar opposite campaigns, but appear to have put their differences aside. Carson now echoes Trump’s call for party unity.
