(FOX) Four students were wounded Monday morning when a gunman burst into Madison High School’s lunchroom and opened fire. This is a developing story and no deaths have been reported thus far. The gunman was apprehended by a K9 police unit in woods close to the high school grounds. The shooter is reportedly of high school age, but it is unclear if he attended Madison High School, roughly fifty miles north of Cincinnati.

 

(CNN) Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator Edward Byers and awarded the nation’s highest medal for valor in combat for his efforts in the rescue of American citizen Dilip Joseph. A medical doctor, Joseph was being held hostage in eastern Afghanistan. Only five other Navy SEALS have received the Medal of Honor and Byers is the eleventh living service member to be awarded the medal. The 2012 operation did result in the death of one of the SEALS from Seal Team Six.
