She’s young, sings coloratura soprano and sometimes co-writes songs with today’s biggest pop artists like Eminem and Rihanna. Her music is no stranger to the Billboard Top 100 charts as she has worked with artists like G-Eazy, Martin Garrix and Nikki Minaj. Recently her single “I got you” hit the Billboard charts last month and just this week she kicked off her world tour. This girl puts in the work and gets results.
So who could this up and coming mega star be? It’s Bebe Rehxa. Originally named Bleta Rehxa, meaning “honey bee” in Albanian, was raised on the East Coast in Staten Island. She kicked off her career singing for Fall Out Boy’s: Pete Wentz’s project band called “Black Cards.” It wouldn’t be long until Bebe would pursue her solo career. Last fall she released her album “All your fault part 1” and I absolutely love it.
I listen to tons of pop culture music with various artists and found that most of my current favorite songs are either by or include Bebe Rehxa and here’s why:
· Her songs are catchy and easy to remember.
· Every song that she is in sounds different from the last. Songs from certain artists tend to be repetitive or have a similar concept. Pitbull is a perfect example of repetitive music.
· Her music varies in sound and speed, perfect for studying or just chilling with friends.
· Mixture of pop and rap/R&B. It also helps that she writes her own music.
She expresses her creativity in her music and lyrics with sincerity. Expect to hear more of Bebe soon. If you are looking for new music or artists to get into, check out Bebe Rehxa.
