Spring is almost here, and you know what that means right? Baseball is finally around the corner!!! I am a pretty big baseball fan despite being a fan of a baseball team that hasn’t been to the playoffs in 15 years. Sure the Mariners are “on the rebuild”, but you can’t put make-up on a ugly chick and expect her to be pretty. That being said…I’m not really excited about the Mariners this year. What I am excited for is ballpark food, yes ballpark food. Going to a baseball game and ordering hotdog on a nice sunny day is the kinda food I am looking forward to. Hamburgers, garlic fries, nachos, chili cheese fries, beer (for the people 21 and over) all seem to taste a little bit better at a baseball game.
You can have all these foods anytime of the year, but it would just be bland. There is something about having ballpark food at a baseball stadium, it tastes that much sweeter, like angels sprinkled some happiness on your food right before you eat it. It’s makes it that much better and you’ll be in a much better mood while your watching the Mariners lose by either getting blown out or blowing a ninth inning lead and having the bullpen blow choke. Eating a hot dog at Wrigley Field is on the top of my bucket list, because A.) it’s Wrigley Field and B.) a hot dog in Wrigley Field is like eating a slice of heaven. If I could only eat one selected diet (and if I had the money) I would only eat what baseball stadiums offered. Obviously, I like food and I suppose a little bit of baseball on the side.
