(CNN) Son and brother of two past presidents, Jeb Bush has suspended his 2016 bid for the Republican presidential candidate. After dismal finishes in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, the former front runner has been fading fast. Once thought to be the shoe-in candidate in 2015, Bush quickly found out the American people did not want a third Bush in office. A major contributing factor to the faltering campaign was Bush’s ignorance towards GOP voters and how they are angry and want change. Bush said he would stay true to what he believes, but it appears that the people do not share his beliefs.
(FOX) In Kalamazoo, Michigan, an Uber driver went on a random shooting spree, killing six and injuring two others. Witnesses say the driver even picked up fares in between shootings. Jason Dalton passed the Uber background check and was described by neighbors as a great neighbor. The victims were picked at random and authorities have been able to find any connections between the victims or Dalton. When Dalton was arrested, deputies found a semi-automatic handgun in his car.
(CNN) Jackie Barden and David Wheeler lost their youngest son, Daniel, in 2012 during the Newtown, Conneticut Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting. They are seeking a lawsuit against Remington, which is the maker of the AR-15 that the shooter used in the massacre. The case has potential to make history if it goes to trial. A 2005 federal law, the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, grants gun manufacturers immunity from any lawsuit related to injuries that result from criminal misuse of their product.
