(CNN) An icon for conservatism and constitutionalism in the Supreme Court, Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead of a heart attack on Saturday in a Texas resort. Scalia was appointed by President Reagan in 1986 and was voted in unanimously by the senate 98-0. Media outlets and journalists loved the legal giant for his no-nonsense approach to interpreting the constitution. One of his most famous quotes came from a CNN interview in 2012 in which he stated, “I guess the [case] that created the most waves of disagreement was Bush v. Gore, okay? That comes up all the time, and my usual response is: get over it.”
(NBC) Kanye West, alongside recent publicity for his new album The Life of Pablo, his feud with Taylor Swift, and his endorsement of Bill Cosby, is $53 million in debt. On Sunday morning, he asked Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion in West’s ideas because he proclaims to be “the greatest living artist and the greatest artist of all time.” Despite his marriage into the Kardashian clan, West is believed to have heavily invested in his clothing line, which sells high-end jackets priced as high as $4,000.
(FOX) On the Golden Gate Bridge in California, two people were struck by blow-darts and sustained minor injuries. Police are still investigating and testing to see if the five-inch darts were coated in chemicals. The victims were inspected at the scene and were soon released by paramedics. The blowgun dates back to ancient cultures and was used as a hunting weapon by Amazonian and Asian cultures.
