Reigning queen of rock, Grace Potter, is stepping outside of her comfort zone and is releasing her first solo album without her band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. The debut full-length solo album, Midnight, shows Potter taking her music to an entirely new level. From the ultimate chick song Delirious to the emotional Empty Heart, Potter’s latest project reveals a much more personal side to the rocker.
Although this is Potter’s first solo album, she is no stranger to the music industry. Along with her band The Nocturnals, she has been playing sold out shows for over 15 years. Together they have released four studio albums and have been a major commercial success.
While Potter has been compared to the like of Janis Joplin and Koko Taylor, she’s definitely earned her place as an artist of her own. She is beloved by fans for her vibrant energy on stage.
Potter is currently on tour promoting Midnight.
