Def Jam Recording Artist Logic has come a long way since skipping class and getting kicked out of school in Maryland. The 25-year-old rapper is now a Billboard charting, globetrotting legend in the making.
Logic released his second studio album The Incredible True Story in November. The album is being called a “sci-fi epic”, and is set 100 years into the future at a point when Earth is no longer livable and surviving humans are on the lookout for a new planet to call home. Logic’s dense creativity is not limited to just the theme of his latest album. He has been widely recognized for lyrics that inspire fans to think outside of the box.
Despite citing artists like Wu-Tang Clan and Jay-Z as inspirations, Logic says he is inspired by all music. He affectionately calls himself Young Sinatra about his admiration for Frank Sinatra, even naming one of his mix-tapes after the legendary singer.
Logic kicks off an almost entirely sold-out The Incredible True Story World Tour with Dizzy Wright on February 4 in Vancouver, BC, playing 44 shows through April 4.
