88.1 The ‘Burg Talent Search

From what I hear, you want to get involved with our radio station. You want to be on the radio, talk to people, and play all the latest music.

Well, here’s your chance. We’re on the prowl looking for new blood! 88.1, The ‘Burg, wants you to be a member of our zany gang of rookie broadcasters. We’re now accepting volunteer applications for next quarter.

Here’s the gig. You need to be motivated, intelligent, creative, organized, and most importantly – you need to love all kinds of music! Sounds good, right? Then pick up an application at our office in Room 120 of the CWU Student Union and Recreation Center next to the Connection Card office.

If you’re accepted, you’ll be given brief but intensive training on some of the best state-of-the-art broadcast equipment in the country – a $200 value, yours absolutely free!  Just imagine having your own radio show. Your friends and family will think you’re some kind of a hotshot. Besides that, you’ll be bringing pleasure to throngs of fans who listen to “The Burg on our website.
