Since I got home from Afghanistan I have not had time to come in and say THANK YOU for playing my song for my team. They laughed their ass's off. Most of my team were younger than myself so they had never heard the song before .... if you remember it was "It's a Great Day to Whoop Somebody's Ass" and that day it sure was .... we were driving in a convoy later that day and everyone was singing it over the PA system on our HUMMV's; it was a VERY funny day. So, once again, you guys are awesome and thank you for what you did. I owe ya one. if I can do anything let me know ok? Thanks again, -Bob (aka Papa Bear)

"I appreciate the fact that The Burg can deviate from the mainstream and play some cool stuff without having to cater to corporate sponsors. With that said, I like the alternative shows such as 'The Hallowed Ones' and the occasional creative alternative bursts from some of the DJs, which is why I listen to this station. We really don't need another station that plays classic 'mullet rock' or other stuff commonly available from local stations; what we need is a station that ventures into the fringe of industrial, techno, electronica, goth, alternative dance beats, and similar venues. Keep those up! We can't find them much anyplace else. That's what makes college radio and The Burg great."

"I think it's great that you guys have a variety of music and your taste for old punk is impressive but could certainly be expanded. Realize that it wasn't always so formulaic and that variety within a genre is cool too. I would also suggest a few songs, Radio Clash, God Hates the Radio by the Clash and SLUG by the Ramones, you won't be disappointed."
